For a moment, let's consider 3 Year Olds:
Pros:
1. They say things like, "Tootie butt head." Therefore giving you
a perfect comeback to use at the next staff meeting.
2. Their independence is refreshing.
3. They understand that there are rules.
4. They are quite honest.
"Did you pull the kitty's tail?"
"Yes, because ........................."
5. They outshine any stand up comedian - hands down.
6. Their dance moves are outstanding.
7. They posess an impecable sense of fashion & style. Really, who knew you
could were a swimsuit over your Cinderella dress?
8. Their affectionate kisses and hugs melt your heart.
Cons:
1. They say things like, "Mom, you're a tootie butt head."
2. Their will to be independent is frustrating.
3. They understand that there are rules and freely point out when you
don't follow them. "Mommy, we don't say stupid."
4. They are quite honest "Yes honey, mommies maternity underpants are big."
5. They know to ask dad if mom says "No".
6. If there is a mess to be made - they will find a way.
Hahahahaha. I didn't know at 3 they knew how to go to dad if mom says no. Quick learners. :-) At least you can still spell things out to each other for a couple more years.
