Well, I am feeling the appropriate weight of my Catholic Guilt sinking in at the moment. Really because I had a lovely and fairly uneventful weekend. There are a million things that I should have done over the course of the past 2 days, and should be doing at this moment, but alas... Friday we spent some time catching up with my sister-in-law and devouring pizza. Saturday included a much needed trip to the grocery store, and then a evening with visiting relatives and old family slides (Yup, the parents whipped out the old slide projector - heaven). Sunday the same relatives stopped in for a short visit of our homely homestead. In the afternoon, I had the blessing of getting to catch up with a friend even if it was brief (which in virtually unheard of), which left the majority of the day for lolling around with Sweet P and the husband. Even now I should be cleaning, prepping for new baby on the way, correcting papers, or sleeping. No, no I will not feel guilty about taking it a little slower this weekend - we all deserve it once in awhile.
So dear reader, what simple pleasures make you feel guilty?
Reading things late at night when I should be sleeping...
