Pillsbury Strikes Again!

Dear reader, as I type I must make a confession. At the moment I am indulging in the all-American solution to leftover frosting. That's right - graham cracker halves with ample amounts of frosting sandwiched between them. Aaaah, it brings back memories of childhood. Am I the only one here?

This past weekend I baked a loaf of pumpkin bread because it sounded oh so seasonal. I sliced the loaf in two and spread a thin layer of vanilla frosting in the middle and them sandwiched the two halves back together. Voila~ Well, since then the leftover frosting has been staring me down EVERY time I open the refrigerator. That darn little Pillsbury character is so cunning! So tonight I decided to take action and make graham cracker & frosting sandwiches. Hmmm, not sure who really one that battle, but since I'm pregnant, let's say it was me. Yummy!

So, dear reader, what do you do with leftover frosting lurking in your refrigerator?????

  1. This reminds me of a time in high school when a friend and I bought a workout video. Instead of working out we watched the video and ate graham crackers and frosting! :-)
